Eyebrow Feathering

Eyebrow feathering is a process that involves using a micro-blade tool to create fine pigmented strokes that mimic real eyebrow hair on the outer layers of this skin. Feathering can be done by hand tool (micro-blading) or machine technique. At brows by m, we use a micro-blade hand tool which has a small row of needles. Eyebrow feathering is a very natural form of tattooing which is usually undetectable as the micro-strokes impersonate real eyebrow hair.

Your first session can take anywhere from forty-five minutes to an hour including topical anaesthetic and deciding on the desired shape of your brows. The brow artist will always work conservatively during the initial application to gauge how well the skin absorbs the pigment in preparation for the second application.

Feather touch tattoo is semi-permanent unlike the “block tattooing” of yesteryear. It is a topical procedure done on the outer layers of the skin. Depending on the skin and exposure to active ingredients or the elements in general, your initial color will fade by 60% in the first two weeks, your brows will gradually fade until your touch-up appointment in four to six weeks.

The procedure stays nine months to two years depending on the skin type and exposure to the sun and active ingredients.
Prior to your treatment, we will take a clear photo of your brows followed by another photo after each session to compare and monitor your progress.
